Hello friends and family!

I just want to start my first blog post by saying thank you for partnering with me as I go on this mission. I am very thankful for each and every one of you for your generosity and prayers.

I am currently in the airport as I type this about to leave (a little early) my hometown where I have been my whole life. This is a confusing feeling, and saying bye is more challenging than I thought it would be. At the end of the day, I need to force myself to look at the bright side and realize when I get back next summer, it will be the happiest welcome I will have received since my birth. 😉

Just wanted to update you guys on what my schedule is looking like these next couple of weeks as well as further into my mission. I am leaving a little early to Texas to see my mentor Hunter as well as other friends and family in Atlanta Georgia! Starting in almost a week on Saturday, August 27th, I will be headed to Gainseville, Georgia to start my mission. I am excited to meet all the new people I will be serving alongside and the lifelong friends I will make.

In Gainesville, Georgia I will be training for 6 weeks for this mission. I also have gotten the dates for the countries I will be in over the next 9 months so here they are:

August 27 – October 15: Gainesville, Georgia

October 15 – January 3: Nicaragua

January 9 – March 2: Dominican Republic

March 3 – May 3: Eswatini

We are still trying to figure out South Africa dates but, I will keep you guys updated on that!

Thank you to all who subscribed to see these posts, I cannot wait to update you all more as I go out into the mission field.

Blessings,

Gabe Veth
